Hangzhou Yungu School, a private school invested by Ali partners, is a 15-year system covering kindergarten, primary school, junior high school and senior high school, which officially enrolled students in 2017. Based on the Internet and through big data, cloud computing and Internet of Things technologies and means, Yungu School builds a Chinese school that cultivates its local soil and looks to the world.

The school advocates personalized education, citing the college system and the tutorial system, mainly adopts the 1:1 bilingual teaching model, and has equipped excellent Chinese and foreign teachers.  It is an open, diversified green and intelligent campus.  For students who intend to study abroad, Yungu School will generate a digital MTC transcript based on their personal performance at school, and help them apply for overseas universities.

Teaching staff

The teachers of Hangzhou Yungu School are all from well-known international schools or public schools at home and abroad, and most of the teachers graduated from well-known universities in China and abroad. Among them, 80% of the teachers have a master's degree or above; 50% of the teachers have more than 10 years of teaching and management experience; 86% of teachers have worked or taught overseas; Bilingual teaching is available to all teachers.

Curriculum Provision

Yungu School has designed high-quality academic courses based on the Chinese national curriculum, integrating Chinese and foreign countries, and has opened expansion courses including future planning and service practice. The school offers three major fields of courses: Mathematical Engineering (STEM), Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS), and Art and Design (P2D2), and students lay a solid foundation through comprehensive compulsory and elective courses, as well as interdisciplinary integration courses. At the same time, students apply what they learn through project-based learning (PBL), online learning, and research-based learning.

Yungu Kindergarten

Hangzhou Yungu Kindergarten has set up two parks. Taoyuanwu Park is located in Taoyuanwu Fund Town in the West Lake scenic spot. It has a valley hinterland and unique natural environment. Yungu Park is located in the Yungu section of Sandun Town, Xihu District. It shares the hundred-mu campus with many functions and rich learning resources with the middle and middle schools of primary schools and high schools.
